Evvie Marin is a freelance illustrator from Massachusetts, specializing in pen and ink and watercolor. A fascination with spiritual inquiry, subconscious fantasy, and esoterica drives her work. Her stark, yet detailed compositions draw on natural, mythological, and folkloric iconography.
Evvie has a BA from Smith College, where she studied set design and studio painting, and was awarded the Yvonne Sarah Bernhardt Buerger Prize for contributions to the theatre department and the Peggy Clark Kelly Design Prize for excellence in set design. She graduated cum laude, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Evvie is currently pursuing illustration full-time. She has several personal projects in development, including the Black Ink and Spirit Vertigo tarot decks. In her spare time, she can be found walking in the woods, trying to learn guitar, and blogging about divination and creativity at InterrobangTarot.com.
